Braylon Edwards is a real humanitarian... (Chandler)
“People in this town believe they are entitled to too much. They have been disrespectful to me and my family. I’ve gone out in public with my family and have had to deal with being called foul names. My parents have been called vulgar things at restaurants.”
“My biggest problem is that I actually give a damn. I’m always rushing back from surgeries and injuries, never missing games or practices. But through this, I’ve learned how to overcome adversity. I’m also proud of how my foundation has taken off. I’ve been doing all this community service in Cleveland … my charity efforts will only be in Detroit from now on.”
http://blog.cleveland.com/bransonwright/2008/12/cleveland_browns_braylon_edwar.html
Let me just start out by saying FUCK YOU Edwards! If there is one thing to be learned here it is, DO NOT DRAFT MICHIGAN PLAYERS! They suck, Chris Weber, Call a timeout dumbass, HEY Alan Branch, Hows breaking into the Arizona Starting lineup been? Michael Hart, hell of year you had in the pros huh? I'm sure the Browns will really miss your 20 dropped passes this season Braylon, and your pedestrian 800 yds receiving when there are teams with 3 yes count them THREE players over a thousand yards receiving this year. For all the self proclaimed hype you fucking asshole. This is the classic case of the petulant child is taking his ball and going home.
He has the chance to take things and control them, but instead he continues to act like an ass.
I guess it's only fitting that someone like him goes back to a place like Detroit, I'll trade them Edwards for Calvin Johnson straight up. Teams have done it in the past without a strong running game or a tremendous star receiver, case in point the New England Patriots (before Moss). However we do not have the defense they have. Whos Tenn titans main number one receiver? I hope the browns get rid of you. He claims that his parents have been called names...I'll call bullshit on that one. Lets take a not on who here knows Braylon's parents, let alone what they look like? Oh no one...umm thought so. It is for this reason that Braylon gets the Dick Vermil Crybaby asshole of the week award, Congrats cock sucker, you earned it! God I hate when people make themselves to be more well known and important than they really are, not at all like my articles here, Phil Savage reads these religiously.
Now on to some more coaching names that I would like to throw out there:
Mike Nolan- He has some intensity, looks snappy in a suit, and the best thing he has going for him...He's not Romeo Crennel! The fact that he has a brain and a pulse is reason enough to me to consider him an upgrade over RAC attack. Hell even Dattilo fits that build, maybe he should be coach, I cant even type that with a straight face. We all know I would make a better coach and GM.
I still want Mike Singletery, Lerner, make it happen please. He is awesome and all that is a football coach. He is close to Andra Davis's equal. He is the quinesential "all that and a bag of chips" .
For the Steve Heiden Award for unheralded offensive player on Monday night football goes to....Brandon McDonald! I was more confident with our defense on the field that we would score than with our offense this game, since Quinn went down . His late touchdown put an end to the near month long drought of my beloved Browns going without one. So thank you b-mac for that and giving us REAL browns fans who stayed watching for the whole game...(Hint Dattilo turned it off before opening kickoff like the little bandwagoner he is).
On the defensive side for the Andra Davis God's gift to football award goes to...(drum roll please)- Brandon McDonald!!!! Thats right a rare two sided win for him. Thanks to him and his timely ints, he kept the game from being a 50 pt blow out and kept it to a far less embarrassing loss and gave us browns fans a little something to cheer about other than draft dayI suppose....Andra Davis came in a close second with a team leading 10 tackles, even though they were 10 yards down the field. Details, details....
Edwards Cleveland may have hurt your feelings, but now you have disrespected my famiery and I despise you deeply. Note to Browns organization no Mich player will ever be welcomed here unless their name is Aaron Shea (the leagues best TE ever) period.

Billionare Club Meeting (Dattilo)
Chandler:"So I've been thinking about doing some sort of awards and Mr.negativity himself (Datillo for those of you who were confused) told me it would be too hard and boring to do every week...waaa...waaa..waaa..He is just simply "TOO BUSY" for his audience. "
- Just like Chandler to only tell 1/8 of the story. I simply said it would get old if he kept giving out fictional awards every post he had. Yes, i said every post, because he has no other ideas so he has to make up awards every time he posts. Also learn how to spell my last name. Two t's one l.
Chandler:"So I have decided to do something unorthodox and think outside of the box and start the awards near the end of the season, hell why not."
-Yeah dipshit you are really going outside the box there. I'm sure no one has ever given out fictional awards in their blog before. Not even ESPN journalists do this. *eyes rolling*
Chandler:"The Steve Heiden Award for unheralded offensive player of the game goes to...Steve Heiden! His catches in the game against the Titans were instrumental in keeping us from getting shut out."
- This is only Chandler's first week of giving out fictional awards, and he already is predictable. You already wrote an entire blog about Heiden's eyes Chandler, get over it. He sucks anyway.
Lastly this is my take on how the convo between Lerner and Savage would go:
Lerner: "So Savage I hear you actually want to hire Iowa's head coach to
become the head coach of the Cleveland Browns"
Savage: "Yes he is a great friend of mine and I think he brings the
knowledge and intensity to become successful at the next level!"
Lerner: "Uh what? Sorry, i am reading this email from the Manchester United
GM. He wants to make a trade with my soccer franchise, Aston Villa, in
England. He is offering me a trade at the goalie position. You think
i should offer Braylon as a goalie? He can't catch worth a shit
anyway. Goalies do not need to catch the ball right? All they need
to do is block"
Anyway on to real talk. The MLB winter meetings are occurring this week. I always thought this was a dumb idea. They might as well call it the MLB Billionare's Club meeting. This is where all the big market teams' (New Yorks, LA's, San Fran, etc) owners meet up, sip on some Crown Royal, discuss their farm systems (all small market MLB teams: Indians, Twins, Royals, Marlins, etc ,etc), and make fun of Bud Selig, because he is so easy to walk over and they will never have a salary cap with him as the commissioner, so they can always buy their World Series title. I mean seriously, there has been about 10 signings or trades since these meetings occurred, and i bet you can only name the moves made by big market teams. CC to the Yanks, and K-Rod to the Mets. Other noteworthy moves like the Tribe signing Kerry Wood is now third tier news, because of the winter meetings. Speaking of the mentioned moves, I really like the Kerry Wood signing for the Tribe. It is only two years, so it is definitely worth taking the risk on a damn good pitcher. I mean, come on, its a lot better than Blowoski, and our current closer, who goes by the name of, "closer by committee." As for the CC signing, I bet that deal silenced the idiots who thought CC shouldn't have been traded to begin with. Whether our "prospects" become anything out of that trade, at least we got something for him. Imagine if we didn't trade him. This is pretty much how it would play out:
1. Tribe still doesn't make the playoffs.
2. Yankees still offer 160 Mil, making CC the highest paid pitcher ever, despite the fact that the economy is not doing so well.
3. All Tribe fans are pissed, because they think CC is a traitor.
4. We get no prospects.
Yeah we definitely shouldn't have traded him..... idiots.
Before i wrap this blog entry up, i promised i would give my NFC playoff rankings. Sorry so late, however here is a short rundown:
1. Giants: You lose a game, have your top wr on the brink of living with the OZ cast, and you have to deal with the NY media...... Despite that, you still clinched the NFC East. Yeah things are going pretty well this season.
2.Panthers: They looked pretty legit Monday night vs the Bucs. They are 7-0 at home, and if they somehow jump ahead of the Giants to gain home field advantage, these guys def can make a run at the Super Bowl.
3. Vikings: Adrian Peterson, their O-Line, and that defense can take this team on a good run to the Super Bowl. However if half their D-Line ends up getting suspended, then do not expect them to do anything, and in fact place this team at #6 if that's the case.
4. Buccaneers: I placed them below the vikes, because not having home field will hurt them.
5. Cardinals: They will have a home game in the first rd of the playoffs, however I can not see them beating the panthers, or the Giants if they win that first game. In fact, they already got pounded by the Giants, at home. Congrats on the first division title though.
6. Falcons: This is a tough one. I place them here instead of the Cowboys, because their remaining schedule is a bit easier than the Cowboys. If this were a regular season power ranking, they would be ranked ahead of the cards, and vikings, however a rookie coach, and rookie qb in the playoffs is something to be wary about.
Outside looking in: Cowboys, Eagles, Bears: The Eagles get to play the Browns, but be careful the Browns are 2-0 on MNF this year. They still need to play the cowboys, which might be a deciding factor on who gets the last slot in the playoffs. If they sneak in the playoffs i would rank them fourth. As for the Cowboys, they are in the same type of position. Two tough teams left, and an easy team. We will see how they respond to that heartbreaking loss from last week. If they sneak in the playoffs i have them at #3. They could easily be this year's Giants. As for the bears, its a long shot, but they have the easiest games remaining out of all the teams mentioned above, including the falcons. If things go right, they could sneak in there, where they would lose in the first rd.

Steve Heiden Might as Well be a Cyclops (Chandler)
Anyway, on the the topic at hand. I've been thinking about doing some sort of awards and Mr.negativity himself (Datillo for those of you who were confused) told me it would be too hard and boring to do every week...waaa...waaa..waaa..He is just simply "TOO BUSY" for his audience. He went on to fawn some more but I stopped listening. So I have decided to do something unorthodox and think outside of the box and start the awards near the end of the season, hell why not.
So here it is, The Steve Heiden Award for unheralded offensive player of the game goes to...Steve Heiden! His catches in the game against the Titans were instrumental in keeping us from getting shut out. I think he caught his passes because his disability of having eyes so close together enables him to have superhuman hand eye coordination.
On Defense we have the Andra Davis is God's gift to football award which goes out to Dqwell Jackson for his superior LBer play on Sunday. He is quietly leading the league in tackles as his instincts make up for the lack of size and the INT didn't hurt either....
In Mary Kay's latest article seen here:
http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2008/12/schottenheimer_says_coaching_c.html
She talks with Marty about his coming to Cleveland as the head coach. And guess what FOLKS? He says that he thinks he is done with head coaching in the NFL but does not rule it out for the right price, instead he alluded to wanting a front office gig with none other than Bill Cowher as the head coach of the Cleveland Browns! "Asked specifically by a caller if he'd consider becoming Browns head coach again, he said, "I don't ever say 'never' if I don't have to but I don't see it (going back to coach the Cleveland Browns) as being likely."
Well I would be up for that as it seems it would be the best of both worlds involving both Cleveland legends. I think it would be a great have Cowher scowling on the sideline with Marty in the front office.
Here's what I think Lerner's last conversation with ole' Opie (Phil Savage since Datillo doesn't think anyone gets the reference to Opie from the Andy Griffith Show played by Ron Howard; He has no faith in our readers) should be:
Lerner: "So Savage I hear you actually want to hire Iowa's head coach to become the head coach of the Cleveland Browns"
Opie: "Yes he is a great friend of mine and I think he brings the knowledge and intensity to become successful at the next level!"
Lerner: "Get the FUCK out of my office! YOU'RE FIRED!!!!!!!!! He is on the hot seat at freakin' Iowa for Christ sakes! You idiot, I am going to call in and get a REAL gm in here to clean up this mess, not some two bit college scout."
Least that's the way I see it happening....

Well Thank God, Savage sees Talent!! (Chandler)
This prick then goes on to say that he sees talent here and thinks we should improve. Well thank god he thinks he sees talent, its HIS talent, and HIS players that are here! Let me tell you what I see out of you Mr. Savage! I see a team full of high priced free agents without and real homegrown veterans. We only have 3 real Browns vets on our team :Dawson, Davis, and Heiden. I then see wasted/busts in the draft. You see talent do you? Well where in the hell is the talent in Frye, Oshinowo, Paul Hubbard, Luke McCowin, Antonio Perkins, god I could go on and on on how you screwed up in the draft missing out on great players who were a need at that time. Is this the same talent evaluator who took Wimbley over Ngata? THe same talent evaluator who brought in Jason Fisk and Donte Stallworth? The same one who drafts our franchise QB but doesn't allow him to play until the season is over because he screwed up our cap and couldnt afford to pay him his incentives he he played?
Yea that's right I said it, Savage couldn't afford to play players this year to their full extent because he over stretched us in the cap space. that's why we could run Jamal Lewis any more against the Colts, He was afraid that Lewis would reach 1,500 yds on the season and reach a his $3mil bonus. Then the pompous ass goes on to say that you can't listen to the fans because they are fans. News flash jerk! The fans are smarter than you! Everyone in the right mind could see Dumbass was the not the answer at QB, now perhaps this goes on RAC as well, but every report I see points towards Savage and the screwed cap space.
Lets evaluate his performance so far, he brought in high priced aging vets who basically contributed in the locker room and not on the field. He failed to stop media wild fires several times this season including the Winslow debacle, and the fan e-mail he told to fuck off. He let Dumbass run our team into the ground, wasted many valuable draft picks, overspent in FA, has had zero playoff appearances, pissed his coach, the team, fans, and the City of Cleveland off, Resigned Dumbass to a THREE year deal when only the one year restricted FA tender would have sufficed in which then a team would have to give up a 1st and a 3rd pick to get him. God Savage get off your high horse and realize what you have done. NOTHING! Except alienate your fans and players, way to go Opie!
http://www.clevelandbrowns.com/article.php?id=9232
I'm seriously so sick of talking about the Browns that I am now delegating my attention to a team worthy of it...THE Cavaliers! Unless big news or I actually have to something to new to write about the Browns other than Braylon sucks, dorsey sucks, RAC sucks, Savage sucks, the team lost, etc... I will no longer post about the Browns until after the season. And no I am still watching all the games, I just fell like I am on repeat. Hey Vince get off your ass and finish your article already I want to see you have in the NFC.

Playoff Contenders/Rankings (Dattilo)
AFC
1. Titans: These guys are the real deal, and they are definitely going to have home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Their next game is vs. the Browns, whose starting QB is Ken Dorsey (GULP..... except i rather watch his ass than DA). They already got their one loss out of the way, and what better way to bounce back then two games vs. shitty teams (lions, browns). The defense is ridiculous, the running game is great, and that O-Line is incredible. The only thing holding this team back will be Kerry Collins. He might end up getting drunk before a playoff game, and cost the Titans the game, by throwing 2 INT's. After the 2 INT's Jeff Fisher will put Vince Young in the game, and he will end up killing himself by overdosing on depression pills.
2. Colts: I honestly think these guys are the next best team. They are 8-4 and currently on a 5 game winning streak. Their next two games as vs. the Bengals and Lions. Wow, they will easily be 10-4 in two weeks. The scary thing is, they are doing this all in a silent matter. The Media has not jumped on the bandwagon, and that is definitely how the colts like it. It doesn't matter if they are playing shitty teams, because they are gaining a boat load of confidence. Also, i wouldn't pay much attention to the fact they only beat the Browns 10-6. Historically, Peyton Manning has never played well vs the Browns, so every time they play, it is always a close score.
3. Steelers: God i hate these guys, but i can't be biased, they are a pretty damn good team. Big Ben does just enough with that running game, to get the job done. I am not going to praise them anymore, because i am about to throw up.
4. Jets: There is a big drop off after the top three. I am putting the Jets here, because they should win their division, so they will get a home game. Favre at home should be enough for a first rd playoff win. Although, don't be blinded by the fact Favre is playing for the Jets. He is not the main reason this team is successful this year. He almost has more INT's than TD passes this year. Solid defense, and a great running game has been carrying this team. I am sure Favre's leadership has been a factor too.
5. Ravens: I hate the fact i am placing them here, and i also want to throw up again, but they are playing pretty good football right now. I really do not know how they are doing it. They have Joe Flacco at QB, and an overrated Willis McGahee. Their defense is led by an old ass criminal linebacker. Everything has just been falling in place this year for this team (lucky comeback vs browns). I am just not going to be giving them the credit they deserve yet. Next week they could easily be outside looking in. They still need to play the skins, cowboys, and Steelers.
6. Broncos: The fact they are going to win their division, make the playoffs, and even host a first round playoff game is a joke. If the Broncos and Browns switched divisions, the Browns would be in position to win the division at 7-5, while the Broncos would be sitting at 4-8 in the AFC North.
Outside Looking In
Pats and Dolphins: I believe one of these teams will make a move into the top 6 by next week. The Pats play the Seahawks and Raiders the next two weeks. They can redeem themselves with a two game winning streak after the stomping they received from the Steelers. The Dolphins have a key divisional game vs. the Bills (divisional games for tiebreaker), and then face the Chiefs and 49ers. It is starting to look like teams are catching up to their little wildcat offense, but we will see. The Dolphins remind me more of a 2007 Cleveland Browns team, than a playoff team.
NFC rankings will be later this week.

Future Coach (Dattilo)
Anyway, I am done ranting about this clowns. Lets move on to the future. Who is going to be our new coach next year? I developed a simple formula the Browns should follow while searching for a new coach. Here it is.
1. Do not hire a college coach: This obviously does not work as we know with Butch Davis. Although props to him for getting the Browns to their only playoff appearance. Anyway college coaches are just simply out of touch with NFL. They can not own the lives of young men like they can do at the college level. Look at Pete Carrol, Spurrier, Saban, and yes even Butch Davis. All great college coaches, hell some of the guys i listed are considered gods at the schools they coach at. All of these gentlemen, along with many more college coaches who gave the NFL a try, have failed miserably. So please do not try to push for Jim Tressel as our next coach. I hate OSU, but i am willing to admit he is a great college coach. He would not survive in the NFL though.
2. Do not hire a hot shot coordinator: It is hit or miss when you try this, and obviously the Browns have missed with Romeo. Romeo is clearly a better coordinator than head coach. Coordinators do not need to motivate their players. All they need to do is be smart about the game, and Romeo definitely is, but he couldn't fire up a bunch of seven year olds after they went on a sugar rush. Dick Lebuea is/was a great D-Coordinator and he was a shitty coach for the Bengals. Ken Cameron was just the same. Look i realize every coach has to start somewhere, however since it is hit or miss, the Browns can not afford that anymore. Everyone is getting sick of losing, and i am willing to bet Cleveland is going to continue to be one of the poorest cities in the US until the Browns win a Super Bowl. This is just not to save the self-esteem of the city, but also the economy!
3. Hire a proven coach!: The first two approaches did not work for the Browns, so here is the only choice. You can not go wrong here, you are hiring a guy who has proven he can win, and knows how to find ways to win.
With my formula i have created a list of guys i would not mind seeing as the next Browns coach. (list is in no particular order)
- Marty Schottenheimer: Some might think he is still bitter after he left Cleveland, but he is clearly over it, because i remember him saying at a press conference he would love to come back to Cleveland. This guy is definitely a winner, he has taken all his teams, except for the redskins (because Dan Snyder only gave him one year) to the playoffs. I know some of you might say, "well he plays Marty ball in the playoffs, and can't win the big game." First of all, you can't blame the guy for Earnest Byner fumbling the damn ball on the one yard line or a Browns defense falling asleep and allowing dumbass Elway march down the field. If that did not happen we would be talking about Marty being a Hall of Fame coach, instead of talking about how he can't win the big game. Second of all, we do not even have room to bitch about how he coaches in the playoffs, because we have only seen the playoffs once since 1994! So, lets get there first, before we bitch about it. Besides, wouldn't it be a perfect script for Marty to come back to Cleveland and finally winning the big game, and finally bringing a title to the city of Cleveland. I just feel like this is fate!
- Bill Cowher: Before anyone says he is the enemy, lets not forget the guys roots. He played for Cleveland, and his also started his coaching career as a coordinator (under Marty) in Cleveland. We already know he knows how to win, and not only that, but the guy bought a house in Strongsville (or was it Solon). The guy is only 51 years old, so we all know he still has that big itch to coach, especially after taking a two year break. The only thing the Browns have going against him is that Jerry Jones is probably going to offer him including the kitchen sink, after the Cowboys choke again once this year.
- Dick Vermeil: I do not know his position on whether he wants to come back and coach or not, but this guys is a winner. He has been to two super bowls, and a winner of one of them. He is an offensive minded guy, so he would fit in right away with the type of players the Browns already have. Give this guy a good D-Coordinator, and the Browns will soar to the playoffs. Also, wouldn't it be hilarious to see him cry after Browns loss, or win. He definitely is the biggest cry baby in sports other than Roy Williams, but at least we would see a coach with some kind of passion for the first time since this team has come back.
That's it, Go Browns, beat Buffalo!

And who said RAC can't/doesn't know how to make an adjustment?? (Chandler)
WOW!!!! Way to go RAC!!! What a great defensive minded coach he is!! Is it just me, or has it taken RAC a season and a half to realize that what he's been doing every week isn't working. This is a move that non-professionals have been screaming about for almost two years! Why hasn't he been moved around like a Ware or a Meriman? All Wimbley has shown to be good for thus far is run fast in hopes of beating a single blocker to the corner to rush the QB, with that limited skill set we need to move him around so he isn't just sitting there like a DE all day and the O-line has to account for him. Moving him around a bit makes him more dangerous and the ability to be versatile really helps. The 3-4 defense is designed to confuse the offense so they dont know where the blitz is coming from, thus movement achieves this!! WOW what a Freakin' concept! RAC you are a defensive genius!

RE: Quinn is Awesome, the Defense Isn't (Dattilo)
As for the defense, what can you say? Isn't this supposed to be Romeo's strength? I mean he was a D-Coordinator. Who the hell tells these guys to fall asleep after taking a big lead? All they simply had to do was make ONE, yes ONE play on third and long (numerous chances), and the Browns would have won the game. They simply did not get the job done. Along with all the third and long completions, they also dropped at least 4 chances to intercept the ball, which also would have won the game for the Browns. I just don't get it. Two weeks ago i was thinking the defense is turning it around, and they were actually the strong point of the team. Obviously i must have jinxed it, or they just got too cocky, because they simply look like shit.
With all that being said, i really do not why i wasted my time typing all that. It simply comes down to this, when talking about the Cleveland Browns (and yes i texted this to Chandler):
The Cleveland Browns are nothing but a bunch of Choke Job Losers.
And it will remain that way, until they get a real coach who can motivate a team.
Also screw you Chandler.

Well Dumbass is officially still a ratbird (Chandler)
That being said I am writing this with a bit of good news as now the savior of the Browns in going to start this Thursday...QUINN!!! However only the browns could screw this up as they waited until the season was all but lost to start him and missed the playoffs yet again. They decide to start him on a short week with basically only one practice, but it is against the Broncos who have a terrible defense and its more work to prepare than if say by some act of god dumbass actually got hurt. No, god is not that kind to Browns fan to make the move so easy.
With that out of the way lets recap the game shall we...
Umm...WAY TO GO Dumbass for being the only qb capable of throwing a pick 6 on a FUCKING SCREEN pass! Well maybe Trent dilfer(more on that later). Once again bad qb play cost us a game, sure one can play the dropped pass on BE, but he is from Michigan and that is too be expected. Sure the running game never got going, but its not hard to see why, when the qb cant throw a catchable ball and thus they can stack the box with 11 players. If Dumbass was capable of throwing an accurate pass they wouldn't be able to do that.
You could blame the defense, yes a 60 yd run is inexcusable and should never happen, but they were on the field for the entire game because dumbass couldn't get a first down. Thus they were tired, in the first half they played admirably. Did I also mention that Dumbass was the reason for no jobs in Cleveland? and the cause of Global Warming for pissing off all these great Browns fans and causing them to sweat thus raising their blood pressure which leads to higher body temperature which leads to warmer temperatures. THANK GOD for Quinn.
Now on to my most hated player of all time: Trent Dilfer
"Public opinion has made this decision for the Browns," said Dilfer, who was Cleveland's starter in 2005 before he lost his job to Charlie Frye. "I have spoken to coaches who have said, 'This is not Derek Anderson's fault.' In fact, at times he's played better than his statistics have showed. This is a function of the defense not getting off the football field; Braylon Edwards, a superstar receiver who's supposed to make all the plays to make you better, having 14 drops at least. It's about their playmakers, Kellen Winslow, not being there, not being dependable. It's about people not being at their best and Derek Anderson burdening the responsibility for this.
Bad, Bad Cleveland Brown
Derek Anderson has been benched after struggling mightily this season. He led the Browns to a 10-6 record in 2007.

HEY TRENT! WAKE UP CALL!!!!! You SUCKED. YOU SUCKED THEN AND YOU SUCK NOW! Thats why you were benched, Frye may have been bad, you were worse! You avged 4 count them F O U R turnovers a game by yourself why you were here. 2 ints and 2 fumbles a game. You are a bitter cock sucker. The reason Dumbass is being benched is because he is the worst QB in the league and would have benched anywhere else as well. I guess it would seem like a "knee jerk reaction" if you thought 4 turnovers a game was acceptable. Yea Dumbass is bad, but he is no where as bad as you were. You hade one good game against the packers, yes we all remember that but that was in spite of you, not because of you. The packers dropped 3 ints you threw and our offense made some amazing catches that they shouldnt have, plus Heiden rambled off a huge 50+ yd catch for a td to seal the game. That was not you, it was great play by heiden. WE won that game in spite of you, just like the ratbirds won the superbowl that year in spite of you, not because of you. Seriously shut up dilfer (I didnt capitalze his name on purpose there, it oesnt deserve the respect) no one cares what a washed up terrible qb thinks you couldnt keep/win a starting qb job against Charlie Frye.
At least we can look forward to watching the golden boy lead the Browns to a victory this Thursday!

I hate you (Dattilo)
I mean where the hell do you start from? Out of all the games this year, that was probably the most frustrating game of all, even more frustrating than the Redskins game. Romeo, Braylon, Tim Couch 2.0, and The Browns defense..... I really hate you guys right now, really really hate. Sunday(Thursday for next week) is my least favorite day because of you guys. Depending on how you guys do, Sundays are usually a good day, or ruined because of you guys. Although, with you guys its a 70% chance my Sunday is going to be ruined. You guys are killing us Cleveland fans. Sundays are already shitty. People are waking up from their Saturday night hangovers, then they have to deal with the fact they have work to do before school or work starts back up on Monday, and you guys do not make it any better by losing every damn time. You not only lose, but you lose in ridiculous fashion where i normally end up punching a hole in a wall. It would just be much better if you all got your ass kicked to start with, then at least i wouldn't have second thoughts about the game, because you all simply got your ass kicked.
The sad thing is, when we were up 14 i had a feeling we still were going to lose the game. Thus the life of a Cleveland fan. I don't understand how the hell our defense can make a trio like Flacco, Clayton, and Mason, seem like Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison, and Reggie Wayne in their prime. This year at WR we have so far seen; Matt Jones, Terrell Owens, Plaxico Burress, Santana Moss, Chad Johnson/Housmadzadeh(don't care about the spelling), and Hines Ward. All those star players, yet Mason and Clayton give the Browns defense the biggest fits, with Flacco under the center. Unacceptable. I could also list the running backs they have seen so far this season, but i just want to point out that Ray Rice a 2nd string rookie RB torched the Browns for over 154 yards. This guy couldn't even lead Rutgers to a Big East title, and yet he is running all over the browns in an NFL game. Also Braylon, screw you. 14 dropped passes.... seriously? The NFL is definitely being generous on that stat too. I'm sure your ass has dropped more than 14 passes. No wonder why we don't go down field anymore. I would be fine with Romeo benching your ass. Seriously, there is no way you are going to learn your lesson. We can't score with you on the field, because you don't catch the, so what is the difference between having you off the field.
I'm done talking about the game, it just makes me sick. The worst part about this is we got swept by the ravens. Shouldn't karma be on our side vs the ravens. There was an article in the Cleveland plain dealer, that said coach harbaugh dedicated the win to Art Modell. Harbaugh is officially the biggest piece of shit coach in the NFL. You heartless SOB, how could you dedicate a win over the browns to Modell? Only one year in the NFL, and you are already working your way up my most hated coaches list. Speaking of Modell, he was part of the first list of guys who were nominated for the HOF. Hopefully he isn't a finalist, but if he eventually becomes a HOF then i propose every Cleveland fan attend his acceptance speech, and boo the hell out of him until he cries.

It All Makes Sense Now! (Dattilo)
The Book of Romeo Crennel:
- Stare blankly toward the field while your team is playing: Seriously, when was the last time you have seen Romeo show emotion on the field? Never? Exactly, i haven't. Can you at least yell at your damn players when they commit stupid penalties such as Shaun Rogers drawing a delay of game before the half, because he is a fat ass and wouldn't get off Jason Campbell. You are letting these players walk all over you Romeo and its ridiculous. You showed more emotion during your times as the Pats D-Coordinator. I don't know what the hell is going on in your head on the Browns sideline. Either A. you are more concerned what the buffet is serving after the game, or B. Bill Belichek brainwashed your ass, and programed you to fail, because none of his ex coaches can ever be better than him.
- Continue to start DA, despite the fact he is a backup QB on most teams: I told you not to let the Monday night game fool you Romeo, and it did. Just get it over with and see what Quinn can do already. He pretty much is your only chance to keep your job after this year. You should have made the damn move at halftime. It could have been the greatest move in your life. Imagine Quinn pulling out the win, getting the team back to .500 and then on their way to the playoffs with Quinn's guidance. You would have looked like a genius.
- Do what ever it takes to waste time on the clock despite being down in the game: This is partly DA's fault as well, but as a coach you need to learn how to manage the damn clock. The last five minutes you nor that offense showed any sense of urgency. As a coach, shouldn't you be telling your players to hurry the hell up?
The Book of Derek Anderson:
- Officially change name to Tim Couch 2.0: For now on i am referring to DA as Tim Couch 2.0 (or TC2.0). That is all he is, they are so eerily similar its not even funny. Tim Couch had a solid, but cardiac arrest and inconsistent year when the browns made the playoffs in the 2002 season. TC2.0 had a similar type of year last season in 2007. In the 2003 season Tim Couch went back to his suck ass ways, except for one game. That game was just right around the first quarter of the season, and it was a Sunday night football game vs the Steelers. He tore the Steelers apart, even running for a TD. Note this was a prime time night game. Everyone thought the Browns were back in contention, and Tim Couch was coming back to form etc, etc. The next game..... he went back to playing like shit. See where i am getting to? Lets go to present time, where TC2.0 tore the giants apart on a prime time night game, and i warned you all not to jump on the bandwagon. Well you know the rest of that story.....
- Have a childish smirk on your face when the camera zooms up on your face after you make bonehead plays: I seriously want to punch you in the nuts when you pull that crap off. Is fucking up really funny to you? You think the Browns fans, and the rest of your teammates think its funny? It may have been "cute" last year, because you all were winning, and it gave us a sense that you weren't rattled, and had things under control. We all see through your bullshit now, so quit doing it. You already are out of touch with Cleveland and its fans, so don't do it anymore. You are not allowed to get away with it. The only guy that can get away with that crap is Lebron James, and even he isn't invincible, as we all know how Cleveland fans reacted to his ass wearing a Yankees hat at the playoff game.
- Overthrow and under throw every wide open receiver, also continue to ignore Kellen Winslow: First of all, no one can cover Winslow, and he is always wide damn open! Throw to someone else other than Braylon, because his ass is on pace to break the single season record for dropped receptions anyway. I'm surprised teams don't just let Braylon wonder off on his own, because chances are he isn't going to catch anything. No wonder why Winslow is getting pissy. Remember last year you were hitting Winslow with passes early in the year, and guess what you all won games. Then toward the end of the year, you stopped throwing to him for some reason, which translated into less wins. Hmmm isn't that what is happening this year??? Second of all how hard is it to put touch on the damn ball and throw to a wide open guy. Your last pass of the game exemplifies your skills, because that's how you overthrow Braylon all the time. The only thing i can say in your defense is that Braylon probably would have dropped that pass if you got it to him. Seriously though, there is no reason to overthrow or under throw your receivers on screen plays. Pathetic, just pathetic.
- Take your time when you are down by 2 scores and there is only 5 minutes on the clock: WOW you seriously wasted about 3 minutes off the clock just to score a 4 yard TD. Please go shoot yourself. Its called a hurry up offense for a reason asshole. Maybe you could have given your team more time to score on that last drive, but you didn't. God i hate you, and please watch this video..... you need to (P.S. Romeo you can take advice from this video as well): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnvPbmdvg8w
The Book of the Browns Custodian Management Office:
- Be sure to hire Steelers fans so they can contaminate any Browns facility: If any of you all are idiots, and havent found out the siginificance of the title of our blog, i sure would hope you figured it out by now. Staph infection has been a problem for a good seven years now, so why the hell hasn't anyone fixed the problem yet? I can understand if it happened every 20 years, but it seems like every year one of our star players has to sit out, because they have staph infection. Give me a damn break, that's a horrible excuse not to be able to play. Please blow up every facility if you need to. The only reason players shouldn't play is because they can't walk on the damn field. They are being paid way too much to have staph infection keep them off the field. Ridiculous.
The Browns defense played great. I have never seen the secondary play as well as they did. It was incredible. The D-Line was even playing great until they got tired, because TC2.0 couldn't muster more than 3 plays per series. Screw you TC2.0. Corey Williams getting hurt at DE also didn't help. Regardless, that defense did not deserve to go home with a loss, but they did. Shame on you Romeo, TC2.0, and Braylon. The defense should feather and tar your asses for your pitiful excuse of an offense.

Pathetic...I think so - Chandler
So coming off of a terrific win against the defending Superbowl champs, NY Giants, Optimism was high for a turn around of the season. Then the game happened.... I made the trek to Washington DC to watch the game (my first Browns away game). Before I even begin to discuss the game, let me tell you about Washington's stadium...Wow what a P.O.S it is. Paint is chipping everywhere,. the score boards are from 1973, so bad.
The atmosphere though, was pretty awesome. The fans were great, and obviously loved their redskins. I wish the Browns has a song like Hail to the Redskins, as it was pretty cool to see 70+k fans sing the song in unison at the top of their lungs. I was a bit jealous at how much they got to sing it. That being said, Man were there tons of Browns fans there. I have never seen so many opposing team fans at a game other than Steelers fans at a Browns game, we travel well.
On to the game:
Does Cud have to develop two different game plans, depending on which DumbAss shows up? Honestly how can they be expected to get some consistency going which such erratic QB play? Wow, DumbAss lost that game for us, as our defense played good enough to win. Braylon Edwards, you need to be benched. At the rate that our "star playermaker"drops balls and has these mental lapses, its time to bench him for poor play. I had accounted him for 5 dropped passes this game.
Where would our run defense be without Shaun Rogers? I don't even want to imagine it. He is having a pro bowl type year.
Kellen Winslow - continue to cry about how you feelings were hurt that Savage didn't call you while you were in the hospital. Seriously bro, you are acting like a teenage girl.
RAC - seriously man suit up for D-line next time Leonard. or Corey Williams goes out, the back-ups were bad. Also seriously play Quinn. We know what DumbAss is - erratic, inconsistent and inaccurate.
As for Vince- When are you ever going to post without me posting first? You can do it, its not that hard. You don't need my approval, or to piggyback off of my comments every week. He always post right after me so that his post will be on top, and people who don't scroll down will read me ripping him a new one. You and Winslow should hang out. Also, I work 50+ hours a week, you have what...18 hours of class max? Yea gee I wonder who is the busier of the two, you really showcased your martyrdom there bro. So stop crying like about how busy ytou are, I would trade you schedules in a heartbeat.

Where the hell has this been?!?!?!? (Dattilo)
This:
and this:
I don't even want to tell you what the censored picture is supposed to be..... The fact of the matter is i guess chandler has already forgotten what its like to be in college, and that it actually consists of work. Yet again, he was a history major.... so probably not.
As for the game, i will break it down with the cons and pros, starting with the cons.
Cons
- The fact that chandler actually predicted the game correctly. He is now going to think he is the shit, but we all know he followed his chad Johnson strategy by guaranteeing a win every week. Didn't i warn you all in one of my earlier posts that he was going to pull this type of bullshit once the browns win a game? The funny thing is, other than the fact the browns won big, that was the only thing he got correct. Like i have been saying, Jamal Lewis is a beast, and they just needed to start running behind Joe Thomas... They did, and he started to tear it up. Harrison is better than Jamal my ass. Also, Chandler sure hit it on the dot about Braylon lolz. Try 154 yards and a TD you idiot. Speaking of Braylon did you notice he was wearing a Penn State shirt during his interview? I am pretty sure he wore a Toledo shirt during practice all week as well. I think this is his way of saying F U!!!! to Rich Rodriguez for giving away the #1 Michigan jersey to some scrub CB that doesn't even see any playing time. Hilarious.
- Too many damn penalties. I thought you used to coach for the patriots Romeo. Weren't they known for their discipline? Where the hell was that discipline when it seemed like the browns were on the giants 30 yard line for 15 plays straight, because they kept committing false start penalties? Please work on that, before that screws us over in a game where the offense is playing like shit (which until Monday night, was every game).
- Winslow and his enlarged testicles. Yes this is the reason why Winslow was in the hospital. Some of you all might think that is funny, but they still haven't found out whether they just enlarged for the hell of it, or if he has testicular cancer. So lets refrain from calling him a pussy, etc etc, because it could be actually something serious, and for he and his family's sake, i hope it is nothing serious.
- Derek Anderson is still our starter. I'm still not sold on him, just because he had one good game. Remember, Tim Couch used to have one good game every 6 games.
- Our offense is starting to get healthy and finally smarter again. They finally started running the ball behind Joe Thomas, they finally starting working their play actions, and they finally started throwing the ball down field. Where has this been the first 5 weeks is what i want to know? Its good to see baby Stallworth in there, i think with him on the field, it opened up mismatches for Braylon Edwards, and now thank god we don't have to watch Steptoe as our #2 reciever. Hopefully Jurevicious comes back soon, so Steptoe never sees the field. When the hell is Jurevicious supposed to be back anyway? They said 6 weeks, and this was week 6. WTF? Hopefully he is back next week, because i love watching his first down celebrations on third and long.
- Jamal Lewis is back. Sometimes it takes a vet a few weeks to get those legs churning.
- The defense looked great. Monday night was a prime example of what happens when the D-Line puts pressure on the QB...... 3 ints by a super bowl QB. Hopefully this is a sign that the D is starting to "get it," and they start jelling even more. I also like that UFO defense they used earlier in the game, i think they should use it more often.
- Braylon only dropped one pass.....
- I know there are many more pros than this, but i am not going to make this a Cleveland browns love fest after just reaching 2-3, however the most important pro out of this game is the fact they are starting to gain confidence again. Confidence can come a long way. Teams with confidence play better than they should play, even if they suck ass (i.e. the falcons). It seems like the browns are starting to gain confidence and that swagger back. With the team getting healthier they are just going to be even more confident. Playing at Washington on short rest is going to be tough, but if they pull it off and reach .500, we may be experiencing a complete season turn around. Here is to hoping that happens! Go Browns!
Other News
- John Madden is a lazy piece of shit. He is going to break his streak of 462ish broadcasted games, because he does not want to travel across the country for a third consecutive week. Awwww poor baby, life is so tough isn't it? Only having to work one day a week to stand in a booth and talk about a game you love. Wow i feel so bad for you Madden. How about instead of being a pussy and driving your stupid ass bus everywhere you go, grow some balls and actually take a plane to your destination.
- OJ Simpson is going to jail. Is this the ultimate real life make up call? Whatever it is, i am happy to see his ass go to jail. He deserves to be there for life for what he did, and i hope every cell mate makes him pick up the soap.
- Chandler steals Dattilo's material.... Yeah i know this hasn't happened yet, but we all know he will do it again, so i am just going to go ahead and publish that as news.

Wow Vince is LAZY!!! - Chandler
Since Vince (see picture) couldn't seem to find the time in TWO WEEKS! to write a pre-game analysis, I will.
Monday Night Football!!!!!
Browns V. Giants, whose ready?!?!?!
While I do not think the Giants have had that hard or a test yet, and thus are perhaps a bit overhyped, I do think they are better than the Browns. Their D-Line can stop the run and get pressure, something the Browns can not do consistently. Maybe if RAC were to discover maybe disguising a blitz here and there, moving a player around...say I don't Know...WIMBLEY!!!!! we might be able to get a sack once and a while. Jones, and Shaun Smith being out really hurt although I do like Mike Adams and think he is a great back-up. This probably means the start of Louis Leonard which as yet to be seen if its a good move or not. Considering the Browns are already weak at the D-line position it will take some inspired play to do well against the Giants strong running attack. Hey RAC, how about some movement on defense, maybe an in-game adjustment or two, wait what that? More vanilla base defense and strong veteran presence when when the back up is clearly better? Ok that makes sense. Does knowing that I need Eli and Plaxico to have a bad game so I can win this week in fantasy do anything for you as far as motivation? Worth a shot...
On offense we are lacking our only offensive play marker in Winslow, except for Harrison of course, due to an undisclosed injury....Does not spell success there. Is Lewis being benched? No, oh. Is DumbAss being benched for franchise savior and fan favorite Quinn? Or he isn't either despite PATHETIC play? no, well makes sense..... Oh but we do have the return oh big CRY baby, stretch the field Stallworth!!!
Excuse me if I am not overly joyed by this return. He does nothing to excite me. Although we do get to see Heiden, a man suffering from Steve Heiden disease. For those of you who do not know, since birth he has had this terrible disease in which his eyes are too close together....Yes tragic I know, but he serves as an inspirational story for us all as he has led a productive life and even managed to make it to the pros! You you can achieve too, Heiden is a true heroic story.
Lewis continues to run the ball without power and fury we are accustomed to seeing. He still should be bench for production on the field. But RAC loves vets and is afraid to hurt anyone's feelings... Sounds like a certain Dattilo I know...
Braylon Edwards...WOW, will he decide to play tonight? Who knows, michigan players play whent they want to and outside of Glen Rice and Arron Shea nothing good as ever come from that school.
Prediction Time:
That being said, all this negativity I believe in Cleveland Fans, even if not the coaches or the players. These fans have been tailgating since 4AM, YEs thats right 4 AM this morning and I believe they will really fire this team up and help defeat the Giants for an UPSET Special!!!!! Yes thats right I am taking the Browns in the face of all logic. I believe in Cleveland FANS!!! I think Andra Davis will have a scak, rogers have a sack and Wimbley to have a sack/Forced fumbled recoverd and returned for a td. Look out for Easy-E and Mcdonald to have monser games. DA will hopefully be injured, not seriously but enough to let Quinn in and NEVER LOOK BACK!!! Under Quinn they manage 30 pts and giev the giants only 7. Browns win big on Monday night.
Now for Dattilo's prediction: Browns get killed 44 to nothing on MNF and he stops watching in the second qt to study for his angry italian test. Althoguh I did like his analysis on the Indians, that was spot on.
GO BROWNS!!! -Chandler
